Rudy’s Friends are All Conservatives
As kooky as Pat Robertson is, he made a good point yesterday: the primary threat to America has shifted from a social issue, i.e. abortion, to a national security issue, i.e. “the blood lust of Islamo-fascism.”
I tend to agree.
However, that doesn’t mean Rudy gets the Rascals endorsement.
In the wake of the Robertson endorsement, Rudy Guiliani sat down with Bryon York from NRO and tried to further qualm the fears of social conservatives:
All of my friends, all of the people I’ve associated with, all the people I respect, the vast majority of them would fall into the category of conservative thinkers, conservative lawyers, and strict constructionist judges.
It’s actually Rudy’s “friends” that concern social conservatives. Are the two gay guys that he lived with for a time conservative thinkers?
