The Surge at Work

While we can not know whether it signals a sea change, there is news from Iraq: talk of a cease-fire.

Why now? What has changed?

How about General David Petraeus and a new strategy called . . . THE SURGE?! How about the terrorists understanding that we have the will to see this war through to the end and will not be setting arbitrary dates for “ending the war?”

Is it also a coincidence that the call for a cease-fire comes on the heels of the Dems surrendering on the timeline/funding issue? Me thinks not.
