Global Warming Hysteria is Over. O V E R.
It seems like only yesterday that President of the Earth Al Gore was claiming to every talking head that would let him get away with it that the scientific community was uniformly behind his view of global warming. Gore’s claim, of course, is that human created greenhouse gases are going to be the end of the world as we know it unless we — pretty much — return to pre-industrialization modes of living within the next 10 years. Gore acknowledged that there were a few outliers who disagreed with him, but, as Gore assured Charlie Rose, these people were so far outside the mainstream science that they were on par with holocaust deniers.
What a difference a few months makes.
One thing for sure the movie “An Inconvenient Truth” accomplished: it provided motivation for global warming dogma to be put under the microscope. And now, other than climatologists with the credentials of Leonardo DiCaprio, it seems like every day a substantial expert in the field is joining a chorus of skeptics that would fill Yankee Stadium.
The latest is the famous New Zealand meteorologist Augie Auer. Everyday the press tells us that our production of carbon dioxide is killing the planet. Quick: How many times have you heard the press report the percentage of all greenhouse gases which are actually attributable to human being generated CO2? Turns out, Auer reveals, it’s 0.12 percent. That’s right: .12 of 1 percent. In other words, its essentially ZERO.
What is the real culprit, says Auer? Water Vapor. Water vapor, which occurs naturally and is essential for plant growth throughout the world, is the leading greenhouse gas, contributing fully 95% of all such gas. As a result, water vapor totally dominates the model.
Despite our conceits otherwise, human beings have absolutely no real effect relative to water vapor and as such, Auer points out: “that ought to be the end of the argument.” Here, here.
