Did Dems Fund The War on Poverty This Way?
The Dems now want to pay for the war on the installment plan providing funding two months at a time. But is that the way they approached the War on Poverty?Â
 ”Failed policies.” “Failed war.” “Out of control spending.” These terms are now being thrown around by Democrats about a war in which we have deposed a dictator and protected a nation while it conducted three free elections and implemented a constitutional form of government based upon democratic principles — all in just 4 years. Not to mention that we have protected America from attack by drawing the terrorists into a fight off American soil where we are killing thousands of them as well as disrupting and destroying their operations.
“Failed policies.” “Failed war.” “Out of control spending.” These terms are much more descriptive of the War on Poverty–a war that was not funded two months at a time by the Dems, but has been funded by the American taxpayer for more than 40 years.
